MR. WILLIAM CHANFRAU, SR.: Over the years our office has represented and we are currently representing half a dozen kids who were seriously injured either in molestation or by child abuse. One of the areas that unfortunately a lot of is shaken baby syndrome where a child is shaken and because of the delicate nature of the cervical spine and the head on the torso they can receive easily significant injuries that result in not only brain damage but also in some cases paralysis. Children are also frequently the targets of molestation in a home by people that are sick and we handle those cases. They're unique cases; require an awful lot of time and commitment. Right now we're also handling cases involving children that were abused in the classroom, children with autism whose teachers were physically abusive. Children require special attention and they are all unique and every case is unique into itself but it's a main area of our practice of law.
