Premises Liability Lawyer

Description

Premises liability lawyer William Chanfrau, Sr., explains how important it is to obtain and retain a lawyer that you trust. His firm handles a range of premises liability cases involving dog bites, criminal activity on a property, and other hazards. He explains that his firm is small enough to get to know clients on a personal level, which usually results in a more comfortable experience for the client.

In the 40 years of practice, I've seen just about all the premises liability types of claims including dog bites, trip and falls, slip and falls, bar related accidents, criminal activity on the property. The basis forward is that the owner is legally obligated to maintain the property in a safe condition for the benefit of his patrons, and then the incidence of private ownership for their friends and social guests that come into the home. Someone who is looking for an attorney to represent them in a slip and fall, or a trip and fall type of claim has to notify the management, if they didn't do so immediately, of the fall. Once they get the letter, they're required to keep and preserve the evidence. Clients need to know they've retained and hired the attorneys that make them comfortable and will do the best job, and I think that we do that, because of our personal attention. We are small enough to know the clients personally on a first name basis, yet large enough and experienced enough to represent them effectively.
